Letchworth Garden City came alive on Bank Holiday weekend with the sights, smells, and sounds of celebration as over 25,000 visitors turned out to enjoy the Letchworth Food, Drink & Classic Car Festival, hosted by Love Letchworth.
The town centre was buzzing with community spirit as a wide variety of food and drink stalls offered everything from street food favourites and gourmet bites to artisan bakes and local brews. Many vendors reported selling out completely, thanks to the incredible support from enthusiastic visitors.
The addition of the classic cars proved to be a crowd-pleaser, drawing in car enthusiasts from near and far. From vintage cars to timeless bikes, the display was a nostalgic journey and added a vibrant visual backdrop to the weekend.
“This event really brought the community together,” said Richard Harbon, BID Manager at Love Letchworth. “It was wonderful to see so many happy faces enjoying everything our wonderful town has to offer – from delicious food and drink to the beautiful classic cars. We’re incredibly proud of the turnout and thankful for the positive energy everyone brought.”
Love Letchworth would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the visitors who joined over the weekend, and to the local businesses, traders, volunteers, and partners who helped make the event such a fantastic success.
